A variation on my other question: what is the difference between the average loss at video poker vs slot machines?

I think its luck, you have to have your own personal experience. If you ask other people, it doesnt really help you, unless they had bad experiences, and they tell you avoid it. But me personally, i like the slot machines

it really depends on how you play the cards - the slots have no random odds added to it by your personal choice, but the videopoker is dependent on whatyou do.

You can't control the slot machine and for me, winning or losing in the slots is purely because of plain luck but in the cards, well, you have a chance to minimize or maximize your wins/loses though it still depends on luck also as you can't choose your cards.

luck is always going to be a factor - but you can make your odds "better" depending on how you play your cards, of course!
