We stayed at the Circus Circus last summer (2005) in late June. I thought the accommodation was great we stayed in one of the tower rooms.
I assume it was one of the newer rooms because everything seemed new. I thought the restaurants offered a variety of choices to cover most tastes and the prices were what I would have expected so there were no surprises there. The only problem I saw was that there were no children friendly programs on TV i.e. Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network etc. I think this would be a welcome addition because if the parents want to go down to the casino by on their own they can't leave the kids in the room because you aren't sure what's on TV.
That's the only problem I saw with the hotel I thought everything else from the Adventure dome to the Midway performances were great.
Obviously the Casino was what you would expect as well there was better there I think but for most the tables and games played where enough. |

| I stayed there with my partner last year as well. You where probably lucky to get one of the refurbished rooms we had what seemed like a throwback to the 70's. The food was good though and the staff friendly and helpful. I believe that all the rooms have had a makeover now so it should be ok for anyone considering a stay there. This was the original "themed casino" so well worth a visit. |

Sounds like you weren't one of the lucky ones, Kimberly, though I've been assured that the major overhaul has finally been completed.
I guess with so many rooms and a high level of quality required in each that it's difficult to get round them all within a matter of months.
Great review Oliver, I'm sure many will find this useful. |
